It is my firm belief that the word which you read will bless you and increase you in all dimension in the name of Jesus. A man does not immediately die of HIV AIDS after contracting the virus. What eventually kills the man is the gradual weakening of his defence and immune system over the years. As the virus continues to wage war on the immune system of that man, his defence system eventually crumbles and death hangs in the horizon. A smoker does not immediately die of cancer of the lungs. It takes a long time of consistent smoking before the consequences of his actions become apparent. In both of these examples, the effect is latent. It takes time before it can outwardly manifest. For the man who smokes or the man who lives his life carelessly fornicating at will, a day is coming that the repercussions will begin to eat him up.
These examples are very foundational to what I want to teach you today. I want you to learn to look at the words you speak from your mouth as seeds. If you plant seeds, they will eventually germinate. In the same vein, if you plant an evil seed with the words of your mouth, they will eventually germinate too. But I can assure you that in the process of time something will happen. The words that you speak will begin to directly or indirectly affect your life. That will be harvest time for you. Whatever seed you plant whether good or bad, they must germinate.
In our previous article, which is series 3, we have established that God hears both positive and negative prayers depending on the circumstance of the case. That is the reason why many believers have their lives in chaos wondering why things are happening the way they are, without actually unravelling the roots of the problem. It may be planted deeply in the words that have been spoken over the years. For them to undo what has been said over the years, they have to plant the right words.

Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
The Bible says whatever a man plants that is what he shall reap. Every word that you have spoken over the years has the capacity to grow. This is confirmed by Galatians 6:7 that everything a man sows, that is what he shall reap. Don’t allow the devil to deceive you and make you feel that what you are declaring from your lips, won’t come to pass. Our greatest undoing has been patience. That is why the Bible encourages us to follow those who through patience were able to obtain the promise. The declaration that comes out from the mouth of a believer carries life. The bible says when God wanted to make man, he said let us make man in our own image and after our likeness. An image is a direct representation of another thing or person. When people see your image, they say this is you. In essence, God’s creative life is in every man whether saved or unsaved. And it becomes potent when the man is saved. He can use his lips to create the world around him.
God spoke words to form the earth. Everything that we see and feel today on earth was made by God from nothing. I mean nothing! I believe that one of the reasons why God never tells funny jokes is because all the words that proceed from the mouth of God carry the potential of fulfillment. If God were to say, for instance, your head is too big, then your head must become bigger to fulfil what he has said. So he doesn’t joke at all with his words. When he was creating the earth, all he did was to plant words. The words created all the beautiful scenery that we see today.
Beloved, it is more than just uttering some few words and being consoled in the fact that nothing is going to happen. Always look at yourself like God that the words which you speak with your lips have the capacity of bringing you harvest. Where a believer continues to plant negative declaratory words, it’s just a matter of time, he will reap precisely what he has sown.
The words that come out from your lips are seeds that will grow. What you will harvest will be determined by what you have planted. I have never seen a man who planted pear and harvested mangoes. I pray that the Lord gives us the grace to make the right declarations, in Jesus name.
