Wisdom for Service

God bless you. This week I have something interesting to share with you, and we shall be continuing our series on wisdom. God bless all those who have recently joined our mailing list. Today, I will be sharing something interesting with you.

Exodus 23:25-26

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Your service to God is essential as your health, divine provision, the blessings of the work of your hands, your fruitfulness, and your longevity are all determined by your service. So it takes wisdom to serve God in order to be blessed beyond measure.

There are many who are serving God without seeing results because they are in the place where the blessings of the Lord haven’t been commanded to fall. How do you serve God with wisdom? You have to locate that which God wants you to do that is wisdom for service. God won’t bless what he has not commanded. In the same vein, God is not under obligation to complete what he hasn’t begun. If God wants you to serve in a particular place, and you have decided to serve in another different place, you are acting without wisdom. And the blessings of the Lord cannot locate you in a place where the Lord has not commanded you to be.

This is the main reason for the frustration in the body of Christ because many people are doing what God did not send them to do. That someone is doing something does not mean it has become a general spiritual responsibility. You have to find that which God wants you to do and do it well. For instance, in the Bible, Apostle Paul was sent to the Gentiles. Peter was sent to the Jews. These were all apostles, but their missions and assignments were different.

You will be acting in wisdom if you look for what God wants you to do and begin to do it. You want to be blessed by God, then serve him with wisdom.

Also, a man of wisdom will serve with fervency and passion that is why the Bible says whatever your hands find to do, do it well. Your service to God is so important that it can determine where you will be in eternity and how blessed you will be in the realm of mortality.

Be where God wants you to be at a time because the blessings of God are location-specific. And when you have found the place God wants you to serve, avoid unnecessary comparison with others because you do not know for what purpose they are serving.
