It is a false assurance to give yourself the impression that you aren’t busy. The truth is that if you live in the world where you need to meet your needs and do what is expected of you as a normal human being, you may suffer from the 21st-century sickness of busyness. And we are all busy. And even your kids in school are busy too. After the fall of man, a regime of the system of Babylon was created. It doesn’t want you to be in connection with God. It keeps you busy from morning until evening. And when you are back home, the most important thing in your heart is to get some rest and close the night with sleep. That is the system of Babylon. It was the same system of Babylon that forbade Daniel from praying. Babylon sanctioned that with a decree that no one should pray to any God within the period of 30 days.
Daniel 6:7
All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
It may interest you to know that it is the same system of Babylon that runs on the earth right now. Prayer is being banned almost everywhere. Kids aren’t allowed to pray in school any longer. Looks familiar to Babylon? In every aspect, yes. And if you become so soaked in the system, it will drain your prayer life and take every ounce of spirituality from your life. Those activities you may be doing are reasonable and necessary to sustain life. But in reality, they want to take away the opportunity for a consistent fellowship with God.
And a believer that doesn’t have a prayer life is a very powerless believer. That is the reason why God inspired me to bring this article to you to help you pray all the times, everywhere, and anywhere. No matter how busy or tight your schedules maybe, your prayers can go on unhindered. That is the secret to fervent spiritual prayer life. My prayer is that after you’ve read this article, a new dimension of the spirit of supplication and prayer will come upon you in Jesus name, Amen.
I know you are busy. I also know how work and family can be time demanding. In the world where we have to meet our daily needs and necessities of life, prayer can be a herculean task. How do I really pray when I am so busy with life, work, and schedules of the things I need to do for a day? Our busyness will not change the Scripture as God has commanded us to pray always and not faint (Luke 18:1). Our busyness cannot be excused for our prayerlessness. The word of God is settled in the heavens, and it cannot be changed in other to fit our modern life. Rather, God expects us to make adjustments to our life in other to fit into his word. That is what it means to live in alignment with the word of God and with God.
Today’s secret will reveal to you the key of fervent prayers all the time. I’m not only sharing with you what I saw from Scriptures. I will be sharing with you what I’ve also experienced as a person and how it has turned my prayer life around. With this secret, you can pray all the time where ever you maybe even if you are at your job or even at the airport or even when you are catching a train in the morning. It is a secret that will revolutionise your prayer life.
One erroneous thinking that has limited the prayers of believers is the need to seek a quiet place to pray. While desiring a quiet place to pray May not be out of place, if you are always relying on a quiet place to communicate with God, you will be having a lot of challenges with the consistency of your prayer life. Assuming you are at your job and the need for prayer arises. Will you stop what you are doing at work in other to go and get a quiet place to pray? Certainly, not. What then is the secret of fervency in prayer all the time? It is the wisdom of praying silently. I got this revelation myself after struggling with prayerlessness. It became a serious problem that I was wondering why I was so sleepy. I would come from my job in the evening and when I come, I would rest a little before discovering that the night had been far spent. Then at about 11 PM, I turned in and slept. I woke up in the morning to prepare for work. It was a serious monotonous activity, and I wondered what was happening to me. The more I tried to pray, the sleepy I became. Until I lifted up my voice to the Lord for help and this revelation took away the struggle that I had with prayer.
Is this method of praying in the Bible? Of course, it is. Do you remember the prayer of Hannah? The Bible says she was praying in her heart and only her lips were moving. That is a kind of prayer I am referring to where you can be praying deep down in your spirit man and your lips may move or may not even move. When you are praying in this manner, even the person closest to you might not even know that you are praying.
1 Samuel 1:12-16
12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.

You see Hannah was praying silently beneath her breath. When Eli the priest saw her, he concluded without a doubt that she was drunken. But this time, the priest of the Lord was wrong. She wasn’t drunken. She was praying. Even though Eli the priest was a man of God, he doesn’t know this method of praying. If he was used to it, he would have known that she was praying. It tells you that not all know this secret of prayer. For me, it was a revelation that tore a new vista of prayer reality to me. I can be watching TV and praying, driving and praying, working at my job and praying. Sometimes, before I can realize it, hours have driven by; I am still praying. It seems things have changed for me. And I want you to learn that way of prayer. It is instructive to know that the potency of your prayer doesn’t depend on how much you shout. Prayer is not shouting. If it was, then Hannah would have gotten her answers even before the day she went to Shiloh and met with Eli the priest of the Lord. Am I saying you shouldn’t shout? No! If you are led to pray loudly, no problem. Do as led. But Hannah’s answers came when she prayed so silently and deep in her spirit.
Interestingly, for the believer who is filled with the Holy Ghost evidenced by praying in tongues, it can be more amazing. Just pick a single word in tongues and continue to repeat it silently beneath your breath. You don’t have to worry about what you are saying, the Bible says, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14:2).
The Bible says that men always ought to pray and not faint. The obligation that God has given to man when it comes to prayer is consistent communication with him. God wants us to talk with him 24 hours. If you got a job in your hands and kids to take care of, is that possible? I believe you may struggle with that. Praise God, there is a way of praying that will guarantee your constant communication with heaven.
After my prayer struggle had ended, it seems to me that the veil of prayer had been taken off my face. One benefit of this method of prayer is that it keeps you constantly in the presence of God. And the greatest transformation that can occur is actually in God’s presence. The Bible says they that dwell in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Another passage of the Bible says, as we constantly behold his face, we are being transformed into his image. So the presence of God is a shield to the believer and this is what this type of prayer does to you. It plants you in the presence of God perpetually.
