Today, I have something important to share with you. I trust the Lord that as you read this article, you will be blessed.

It is amazing how God goes into the details of what he wants to do with your life. When he makes his promise to you, it beat your imagination how he tells you every detail of it down to the tiniest bit of what he had promised you.

God does not act in vain. When you see him taking certain steps in scripture, the reason for those steps is filled with divine wisdom. vain. When God wanted to tell Pharaoh that his dream was going to be fulfilled, God gave him all the details of the dream and doubled the dream to pharaoh. Pharaoh ’s first dream was concerning 7 fat cows that were devoured by  7 thin cows. Pharaoh woke up. But as soon as his head hit his pillow again, the dream continued. He saw 7 ears of corn, haggard and ill-favored devouring completely the fat ears of corn.

Amazingly, he did not have these dreams in details alone. The dreams occurred two times. God was trying to tell him that this thing is going to happen soon as famine will sweep over the land and the years of plenty will be forgotten. It will be as if they had never had a year of plenty in the land.

Did this detail-laden dream come to pass?

Psalms 27:1: Genesis 41:54-57
54 And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread. 55 And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do. 56 And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians, and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt. 57 And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

Whenever God goes into the details of his promises to you, it is to tell you that it has been firmly established. God said something to you alone, then he sent confirmation, people coming to tell you what God has said as though they were present when God was speaking to you. It is an indication of God preparedness to bring to pass that particular promise.

Matthew 18:16

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

The Certainty of God’s Promises

God sending witnesses from everywhere around you is to assure you that what he has said, he will fulfill. So the details of God ’s promises in your life is to show you that God wants to bring to fulfillment the plans he has for you.

God ’s Preparedness and Your Compliance

Joseph had a dream about his brothers bowing to him when he was 17 years old. In his dreams, he saw eleven stars bowing to him. He further saw the moon and the star bowing to him.

Genesis 37:5-8

37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed. 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

The several ways in which Joseph dream the same dream was to confirm the certainty of their performance.

In the process of time his dream came to pass, and the brothers who hated him and despised him nonetheless bowed to him. It doesn’t matter who hate you, but if God is the one making the promises to you, relax as God’s promises come to pass in your life.

Even though his dreams came to pass, it took joseph’s cooperation with God to get to where he was supposed to.

The Certainty of God’s Promises 3

Potiphar’s wife, a woman filled with the spirit of lust came along. She gave herself to Joseph to do as he pleases. Although the bible didn’t say expressly that she made sustained efforts to seduce him, I would imagine how her dressing changed. While Joseph was magnetized by his assignment of being a housekeeper, Potiphar’s wife would wear skimpy clothes that revealed her body contours. She was trying to terrorize the eyes of Joseph. Men are easily taken by what they see and she was using that opportunity of presenting what will attract the eyes of Joseph. The more she tried to entice Joseph, the more he ignored her and continued about his business.

There are copious lessons to be learned here. It took joseph’s deep cooperation with God for his dream to come to fulfillment. If he wasn’t joining hands with God, he would have submitted to himself to the pressure of this lustful woman, Potiphar’s wife. God will give you the dream or the vision or even the promises but he will demand one thing from you — cooperation.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

If he demanded cooperation from people of old time, he will still require the same thing from us today.

In joseph’s time, God interacted with them directly. He would speak to them, and they will hear his voice. When Jesus came to the earth, God the Father stopped speaking to men directly. If you wanted to hear him, you would have to pay attention to what the Father was saying through his son, Jesus.

John 12:49

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

At present, it is a Holy Spirit that God uses to speak to us. Hebrew 1:1-2

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

When God has revealed to you what he has planned for your life, you will need to join her hands with the Holy Spirit for that plan to come to pass.

From the time Joseph had his dream, God prepared him for 13 years. In your own case, the Holy Spirit will guide you to the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life. And whatever he says to you, follow it with the whole of your heart and mind. See the book of Romans 8:2.

I know God might have given several revelations concerning your life. I also know that God may have confirmed some of this revelation to you personally. But are you prepared to follow the leading of the Holy Ghost in totality towards the realization of God’s divine plans or promises for your life? I pray that God will give us the grace in Jesus name, Amen.
