Correct Ways to Pray to Unlock Financial Doors

I want to welcome you to the month of August. It is my prayer that the Lord will bless you in the second half of the year in the name of Jesus, amen. I want to also use this opportunity to welcome all those who joined our mailing list. The Lord bless you.

I have something interesting to share with you being our first post in the month of August.

It often bothers me when I see believers pray for a financial miracle and they didn’t get it. The major reason for this unanswered prayer to financial doors can be blamed on the incorrect manner in which the prayers were prayed. There is a correct way to pray for financial doors to open. Unless you understand the correct way to pray in other to receive financial blessings, you may continue to pray without results.

There is a platform for financial blessings prayers to be answered. It is until a believer prays from that perspective, he may continue to knock the doors of heaven for financial blessings and nothing will happen. Scriptures on financial blessings must first of all be obeyed before you can bow your knees to God in prayer so that he can bless your finances.

Job 36:11

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

So what are the conditions for financial prosperity in the Scripture we have just quoted? It is called Service. Even if you continue to pray from morning till evening without service, financial blessings cannot come. It is as a result of this lack of understanding that many believers are struggling financially. They have been praying to God for financial blessings, yet they have nothing to show for it. If you are a man who is given to the life of service, any time you begin to knock on heaven’s doors for financial blessings, God will say, my son or my daughter, is knocking the door for financial blessings kindly bless him or her.

Every prayer for financial blessing has no platform for an answer unless kingdom principles of service are applied.

Another Scripture says, serve the Lord your God and he will bless your bread and bless your water. So once you are a man given to service, you can knock on the door of heaven for financial blessings and it will be poured on you.

If prayer for a financial miracle is automatic, then it is only those who are in the prayer-unit of the church that will enjoy financial blessings. In reality, this is not so. If you want to be blessed by God, there are strict kingdom principles that you have to follow and the one we are talking about here is service.

Our greatest problem is that there are many believers who are crying to God for financial miracle yet they are not willing to serve. They are looking for the blessings yet do not want to serve the one who blesses – God. That financial blessing may never find expression in their lives because God cannot be a violator of his word.

Friends, I want to be very sincere with you because there are several books and materials out there that tell people to pray for financial blessings. The books might not be wrong if they will give you a ground from which your prayers ought to be prayed. If all they are telling you is pray now and get financial miracle the next five minutes, then there is a problem with that approach. If you have not been serving God and following some kingdom principles, you can pray from now to eternity and that prayer will not be answered.

Why do we need to talk about the concept or the subject of financial prosperity prayers? The reason is simple so that you can serve God without distraction. It will be bad for you to use the time for prayer to be worrying about the bills that have piled up. Or for you to use the time of Bible study to be thinking about the mortgage that you are falling behind in payments. Or your credit which has gone bad. Or even several utilities that require financial payment. So the reason why you need to pray in the right way in order to unlock financial doors is so that you can serve God without distraction.

1 Corinthians 7:35

And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

The principal reason why the Lord will bless you is so that your service to him and your walk with him should not be burdened by distractions.

As you applied these principles to your life, I am waiting to hear the testimony of unlimited financial doors that will open to you.
