Your Tools for Spiritual Growth

Today, I have something interesting to share with you. I was asking the Lord what series he wants me to focus on for the month of July, and he told me that  he wanted me to write on different topics as he inspires me. So today I’m going to be sharing with you the tools you need for your spiritual growth.

We are in the month of July and this is the first half of the year 2019. Have the prayers you prayed been answered? Or are there expectations you are waiting to see the fulfilment? Or is there a place you wanted to see yourself spiritually by the first half of the year or by the end of the year? I bring you spiritual tools for accomplishing your goals. They will turn your expectation into manifestation.

The Bible or the Word of God

The Bible contains the life, character, and the nature of God. It is the believer’s letter that contains everything he needs for life. Any time you failed to read the word or pay attention to the word, you are depriving yourself of the opportunity of seeing your testimony manifest into reality.

Daniel 9:12

In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

It was at the place of the word that Daniel understood by books the number of years they were supposed to spend in captivity. Some of the greatest problem facing our lives can be solved by a simple study of the word of God. Besides the blessings which the word of God holds, it is a potent tool for your transformation.

Revelation 1:3

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Anointed Books and Materials

Where you are today is somebody’s past. Where you will be tomorrow is also someone’s past. And that person’s past can be written in a book that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. When you read books that are inspired by the Holy Ghost, it will help you speed up the process of your spiritual growth. Though I must also ask you to be careful with the books that you read because not all you see out there is a product of the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. It is through anointed books and materials that you can enter into realms even before your time. What might take you 10 years to see from the word of God, it is what someone had already seen and the person has packaged it in a book.

The Spirit of Truth

John 16:13

Many of the times the reason why we don’t get to hear deep mysteries that will turn our stories around is because we do not get aligned with the spirit of truth. If there is a problem you are facing or there are things you are trusting God to fulfil, if you re trusting God for a divine direction, you can get all that if you get in tune with the spirit of truth – the Holy Ghost. In him lies all of the wisdom that can transform and change your life. The disciples of Jesus paid great attention to the Holy Spirit and in every step of the way, he told them what they should do precisely.

The Company You Keep

Amos 3:3

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

You are not greater than your company and the kind of wisdom you will demonstrate in certain situations of your life is determined by the kind of company you keep. The Bible says the person that companies with the wise shall be wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed. That is why our friends matter to God and to us. The Bible says bad company corrupt manners.
